Bloomington is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bloomington follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The entire staff is awful. Long wait times (which is difficult with children) and poor communication. The front office staff is slow, rude and you could openly hear their conversations (not work related). Dr Hall was a complete jerk to me and even mocked my employer, which was incredibly unprofessional. As I walked away from him he just kept going on and on making ignorant comments as I ignored him and then his staff joined in making sarcastic comments about my children being beautiful. He was so concerned about me filling out the forms โ€œincorrectlyโ€ that he didnโ€™t even speak to me about my childrenโ€™s teeth. He should receive zero dollars for my visit because he did nothing but belittle me (I will work with my dental insurance carrier so he doesnโ€™t get a dime). Probably a good idea for him to retire and hire some respectful staff. I will never take my 4 children there again and Iโ€™d give them zero stars. Stay far away!

The overall experience has been great for our children. However, parents should be aware that they need to โ€œopt-inโ€ to an election on their kids account to ensure the staff is asking and receiving parents approval for services that may not be covered by insurance. We were never informed of this before they sent us a bill for services not covered by insurance.

My children see Dr. Hall and he is great with them. My daughter had to have general anesthesia for some work when she was 3 because of her unwillingness to sit in the chair. He has been nothing but patient, even when she screams for a cleaning. Well his patience paid off because yesterday, at 6 years old, she sat in the chair to repair her chipped tooth in the front. He explains everything in a kid friendly way. I canโ€™t thank him and his assistants enough! :)

Dr. Sarah is phenomenal! I took my two boys for there first check up and she handled them so well! Being a 1.5 and 4 year old, it takes a lot of patience and she was outstanding! She has excellent bedside manner, a fantastic personality and a true passion for what she does! Weโ€™re extremely blessed to find such a caring provider! We canโ€™t wait for our next visit!

Our daughter got a break up letter from her dentist ๐Ÿ˜† It sounds like a bad joke but unfortunately it is reality. But from the beginning...We booked our 5 year old for a first time appointment at smile due to some teeth pain and sensitivity she was having, once we called they said the earliest was a month out which was pretty common for children's dentists so we took it. They also informed us that they do not do emergency visits which I thought was very odd and kinda crazy but that's for another time. So the morning of the appointment we get a call saying they need to move us to the next day due to an "office emergency". We were not particularly happy and after we got off the phone they called back to let us know they could go ahead and see us on the original day we had scheduled a month ago. Not the best way to start but we got there, they cleaned her teeth, took a look, and said 2 of her teeth needed work, basically the children's version of a root canal. I took her up front and they charged $320 for that visit. I then asked how much the other work would cost and they said they couldn't tell me now but wanted me to go ahead and book it for 2 more months out. After leaving we calle
